Swiftwind Equine Center's Annual Membership is the core service of the Center. The fee is $125 annually (ie. pay Sept 2021, don't pay again until Sept 2022). Potential members can attend three sessions before pay the fee . The membership includes:
Swiftwind Equine Center also has a badges incentive program with over 30 badges for members to earn. This is only available to members. The purpose is to encourage members to independently set achievable goals. The main rewards are:
The badge is also a visual reminder to members about their accomplishments. In some sessions a badge goal is incorporated to generate interest. In the first year, four badges were incorporated in the topices and earned. Since the first Games and Badges' Day in September 2019, 6 more badges were included into the sessions.
This after-school program is geared towards school age kids and youths. It is free to members. $15 for non-members. The layout/structure is laid-back, a relaxed gathering with an educational twist. Herd Holler runs 4:15pm to 5:30pm once a week.
Horsey Time is held on PD days, holidays or occasional Saturdays. The timeframe is 4 to 6 hours. The fee is $35 per person. This is not included in the membership.
It is a fun, social, interactive, educational day involving horses, agriculture and horsemanship.
Me Time is private (1:1 ratio) unmounted sessions specifically tailored to the client's needs and goals. This includes horsemanship, agriculture and other aspects involving horses. The cost is $30 for approximately one hour.
This is excusively for adults (ages 21 and up). The fee is $15 per session and runs for 1 hour and half. The format and content are tailored for adults while providing a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere while learning about horses, agriculture and horsemanship.
Swiftiwnd Equine Center's Riding Program is exclusively for members. It is run in accordance to the principle of correct classical training and up to date equitation science.
Lessons are intended to establish riding skills, horsemanship knowledge, horse-rider communication skills, rider balance and core strength by use of both standard exercises and games. The lessons are private (1:1 ratio) and an hour in length.
The fee is $65 per lesson. Those in the riding program must attend at least two Swiftwind education sessions a month.
