Meet the Herd

  • Jewel

    Jewel is also known as Queen Jewel. She is the Boss of the herd. No horse puts a wrong hoof with her around. She’s an excellent Auntie to the calves. Jewel is intuned to her rider and surroundings. She’s loves being the focus of attention.

  • Autumn

    Autumn’s show name is Autumn’s Whisper. She is the newest addition. Autumn is a gentle giant. She is calm, loves to work and enjoys being groomed especially when it ends with a treat. Autumn is one of the Bay Besties.

  • Dodge

    He was named after our trucks (Dodge Ram) and is built like a truck. Dodge may be the eldest but he still acts like a teenager. He greets everyone. Never turns down a good grooming. He enjoys new riding challenges.

  • Magic

    Magic is another Bay Bestie. Also known as Made By Magic, she is truly loyal to her rider. She is aware of her surrounding and nothing gets past her. Magic enjoys time with her rider.

  • Rose

    Rose is the tallest pony but one of the youngest in the herd. Even though her show name is Sweet Briar Rose, she has sass. Rose is still learning the ropes to communicate with her rider. She loves lead in-hand work and is a Bay Bestie.

  • Teacup

    Teacup is one of the longest residents at Swiftwind. She has a couple alias: Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and Princess Pony. She is an opportunist trying get to grass on the other side of the fence or raiding feed buckets. Teacup is a farm favourite.

  • Buddy

    Buddy and Teacup were the first equids at Swiftwind. He has beautiful blue eyes. He’s first to the gate to inspect your pockets. Buddy is a lead in-hand pony, but like Teacup, he’ll take the opportunity to raid feed buckets.

  • Star

    Star is the smallest and is considered a miniature horse. She came with Major. She enjoys grooming especially when it keeps the flies away. Star never misses a meal and is happy to clean up other horses’ meals.

  • Major

    Major is a mammoth size donkey. He’s taller than a standard size donkey. He came with Star. He likes to do his own thing. He makes it very clear when it’s time for supper.

  • Mojo

    Mojo is known as the Gentleman’s Bull. You can pet him and take selfies together. He is relaxed and calm. Mojo is always first for feed and tries to help when hay comes…whether you want the help or not.
